Elyssa's Type 1 Diabetes Diagnosis

I have never blogged before but my 2 yr 8 month old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes now I am left with so many questions and looking for answers. Our lives changed forever the night of July 1st, 2011. So much happened and I had so much to say I put the story on it's own page. It was a night, a weekend, a 5 day hospital stay I will surely never forget.

    Hi and welcome to the DOC! I was in your shoes exactly 1 year ago to the day! My son Josh was diagnosed on July 1st 2010 at age 6. I know how shocked and numb you must feel.     Welcome to the DOC!! I am a T1 who is 22. I was diagnosed when I was 15. We are all here for you on this journey. I know it's going to be a tough ride, but we will get through this together.
